Silverback
This is a Silverback Gorilla, otherwise known as the one the other gorillas won't mess with. Found it hanging out at the zoo in Columbia, SC. A little bird thought a certain guy in Madison would appreciate it.

I've encountered one of these wandering the streets and dark alleys around madison. I even had a near-fatal encounter with one at Boulders...
you would think that, living here in columbia and visiting our zoo as often as i do, i'd know that silverback's name.
sadly, i do not.
i do know our four gorillas are all males, but the only names i remember are kimya and mike.
